The PowerPlane (PP) is the modular backplane of the LumenCache system. It is mounted inside a standard low-voltage wall enclosure and accepts 48V input power, either from a high-wattage AC/DC regulator plugged into the grid, a DC regulator, or a battery/solar power energy management system. The PP networks the entire system together and handles commands from the LumenCache web browser interface and other external sources.
The PP-2 has two PDM docking bays, supporting up to 16 Socket Cards for up to 1000W of total power.
