Socket Cards (SCs) deliver power and communication data from the PDM to the Smart Interface Blocks (SIBs) and fixtures down the line. Socket Cards are hot-pluggable safe and pop easily into the PDM with no tools required.
The Socket Card with Electronic Fuse (SC-EF) is not a driver, but rather directly provides 48V power and communication data to driver SIBs down the line. It is used when different types of fixtures are placed on the same run.
