    A Smart Interface Block (SIB) is the interface between a fixture and the CAT5/6 cable run. It connects at the fixture's point of installation and communicates back to the Socket Card the operational and safety specifications of the fixture.

    The SIB-P-HT is a Passive SIB used on lighting runs with either a SC-CC2 or SC-CV2 Socket Card. It comes with humidity and temperature sensors built into the SIB.
