    The diagnostic socket card analyses the connected port wire and attached devices on the wire.

    This is a PRELIMINARY SPECIFICATION.  Expected features include:

    • Cat5 wire mapping to confirm all terminations are correct
    • Wire condition tests detects individual damaged wires inside the cat5/6
    • Identify the type of devices connected on the port wire, ie: PoE, SIB-CC, SIB-SV, etc
    • Compatible with both RJ45 and 4 wire PDMs
    • Clearly displays information on the PowerPlane LCD display and via the smartphone APP
    • Includes 3 "sacrificial connector whips" so the tool can be used as a tip/test tool for all wires on site without wearing down the PDM connectors
